Previously, Retro Sports Vault had discussed the best NFL logos of all time. Now we will be switching gears, or should I say sports, to the next big league in the United States the NBA. Today we are gonna take a look at the 10 Best logos, in no particular order!

Opinion and in no particular order. These include teams that still exist and those that do not.

2006-2014 Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks are a pretty small market team, but their logos have all been solid. They haven’t changed it too much since they became a team, but this one is their best and one of my favorites. The lifelike deer and the font are amazing and work perfectly together.

1995-2008 Toronto Raptors

One of the most electric teams of all time, while this was their logo they had some amazing players and entertaining basketball. The team played into the logo in that they both were electric, different, and glorious to watch. This is one of the best and honestly a top 5 logo of all time

1995-2011 New York Knicks

The New York Knicks are a household name in Basketball legend, and I think this logo exemplifies their longevity and also New York City itself. Despite the fact that theyre not the most successful team they represent New York well. They have a huge soft spot to me and

1995-2001 Seattle Sonics

Unfortunately the Sonics no longer exist. But their logos were among the best of all time and this is their best one and it’s up there with the Raptors. They all shared a similar style of wanting to be different from the rest and succeeding very well. This is a fantastic representation of Seattle as well and uses its city landmarks well. One of my favorites and definitely up there.

1995-2003 Houston Rockets

Again very similar to the Raptors and Sonics. This uses the association of Houston with spacecraft well and also looks amazing. Their jerseys were also amazing and it was truly a fantastic logo. Some legendary players wore this logo and its iconic design would hold up in the modern day in my opinion.

2010-2017 Cleveland Cavaliers

These Cavs teams were quite poor at the beginning but they did win an NBA finals with it and LeBron returned to the team to do so. This was a fairly short-lived logo but it still feels iconic due to the history attached to it

2008-2018 Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets had some truly great teams and players with this logo. It uses the geography of the region, and I love it when teams incorporate their local environments in their logos and designs. This one is done very well and it has some iconic players that wore the jerseys.

1997-2012 New Jersey Nets

Another team that relocated. This logo was the first one that got me interested in logos. It is very simple but elegant, and the colors are great. Unfortunately, again, they moved to Brooklyn, and their logo got worse, but for 15 seasons, they had a fantastic logo and some pretty good teams who were close to winning the title.

1972-1995 Atlanta Hawks

The longest-running logo on this list, though not used anymore, was used for more than 20 years. It stood the test of time and, in fact, would be popular today as well. This simple design, as well as the players who wore it, represent the city of Atlanta and the NBA.

This was the RetroSportsVault’s comprehensive list of the best NBA logos ever. These were not in any particular order. Let us know in the comments how you feel!
